Welcome to Nindaranna Cats, a TICA registered cattery located in Helsinki, Finland. I specialize in breeding TICA and CFA standrard Russian Blue cats, and am proud to say that my breeding program is based on lines from some of the best and most experienced Russian Blue breeders internationally. The Russian Blue cat, with it's expressive, and mesmerizing green eyes, and rock grey, silvery coat immediately caught my attention amongst the cat breeds. It's gentle and intelligent character with it's soft and melodic voice, took me completely by surprise when I got my first Russian Blues. I asked my self  - can cats really be this nice?

Nindaranna is the name for the planet Venus in ancient Babylonian. It is the morning star and the evening star that can only be seen at dawn and twilight. The star Nindaranna has been associated with cat deities in many ancient cultures, under various names. And not very surprisingly, our cats are most active at dawn and twilight. Hence the choice of the name Nindaranna for my cattery.  

The  cats are first and foremost family members,  therefore I want to keep the cattery a small business. Thus I will plan for a litter only twice a year. You are very welcome to contact us, should you like to be on a waiting list for our next available kittens or learn more about the cats!
